LIMITED EDITION FINE ART PRINTS

All the Surface works are available as Limited Edition Fine Art prints. Archival pigment print on Hahnemühle Fine Art Paper, 325 gsm. The artworks are strictly limited to a total combined edition of eight (+ two AP) divided between three sizes.

All printing is done by Søren Solkær at the Copenhagen studio. All prints are accompanied with an individual signed and numbered certificate of authenticity. The framing is done by trusted Copenhagen custom frame makers.

Each image is produced in a total edition of eight prints. These eight prints are divided between three sizes:

1) 40 x 60 cm: €2.500 (€2.000 without frame)
2) 60 x 90 cm: €3.500 (€3.000 without frame)
3) 100 x 150 cm: €5.500 (€4.500 without frame)

SURFACE

SURFACE is a photographic portrait series by Danish fine art photographer Søren Solkær, capturing the key figures of the international street art scene. The project began in 2012 and continues to evolve, as Solkær regularly adds new portraits of both pioneering legends and the biggest stars on the scene.

THE DEFINITIVE ANTHOLOGY OF STREET ARTISTS

More than 150 artists have been photographed in cities including Berlin, London, Paris, New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Las Vegas, Stavanger, Athens, Sydney, Melbourne, and Copenhagen. Each image is carefully staged and lit in Solkær’s signature cinematic style—often on rooftops, in alleyways, or beside large-scale murals—blending visual storytelling with a deep respect for each artist’s anonymity and individual voice.

The SURFACE project has been exhibited in New York, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Sydney, Melbourne, Copenhagen, Amsterdam and Munich.
